Pipe Lining & Coating Pty Ltd rolled and welded 62 x 6m diameter, 3m high steel barrels for construction of the 180m deep ventilation shaft. All liners were steel only rather than the steel/concrete composite liners usually used.  This project required intensive logistics due to the size and height of the barrels. A carefully mapped route was established taking into consideration bridge heights and a police escort required.
